    I would like a way to convert my private group to my business page or at least be able to market to the 800 people. I've tried to narrow down ads to my group but FB doesn't allow it. I could be wrong.

    The question is "Do you have to befriend all your target customers and potential business partners?" But, I think Facebook will be a great tool in marketing. You can simply post your advertisements on your profile. Word is spread faster on facebook than other sites.
