Does Guarantee Help Your Online Marketing

When somebody is interested in a service he wants to feel confident in your product, your company and that he made a right decision choosing you among your competitors.

Guarantee is what you need on your website to increase its conversion.

Smartly written guarantee will increase the value of your product or service.

Okay, in some cases. Writing a guarantee is one thing but making them understand there isn't much risk in their investment is the important factor.

Your unique selling point is what makes sense to them.
First, identify your market, learn their language, and understand their fears,
challenges, issues, and problems, you'll know how to solve it for them with
the first 14 words of your headline or company description.

A guarantee is always good, but ultimately, a lot of guarantees fail.
Sometimes guarantees bring the reaction of... 'it's too good to be true' and it can
backfire on you. So make sure your marketing messages match up to the guaranteed.

Worry about your USP before all else then make it easy for them to understand they can get out of it if this fails on them.

Here's the way I see it, Zach. Guy puts a fancy guarantee on a box 'cause he wants you to feel all warm and toasty inside.

    Why shouldn't it?

Ya figure you put that little box under your pillow at night, the Guarantee Fairy might come by and leave a quarter, am I right?

The point is, how do you know the fairy isn't a crazy glue sniffer?

"Building model airplanes" says the little fairy; well, we're not buying it.

He sneaks into your house once, that's all it takes.

The next thing you know, there's money missing off the dresser, and your daughter's knocked up. I seen it a hundred times.

Because they know all they sold ya was a guaranteed piece of sh*t.

That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump in a box and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time.

    • Having a money back guarantee is only necessary if you are selling to people who do not already believe in your products. If you're selling to your own audience, you don't need a guarantee, but if you are doing adwords ads for instance, you will definitely want to offer some sort of guarantee.

Are you asking a question or just telling us that you really like guarantees?

Of course they increase conversion. That's why every sales page online has a return policy. Even Amazon and they are bigger than everyone on warrior forum combined.

As an affiliate marketer, an unconditional money-back guarantee is a huge conversion factor. It is boldly proclaimed in all of my marketing and promotions. This does not, however, reduce the need for best practices in advertising and copy writing.

Can anyone quantify how much more sales a money back guarantee will make?

That would be a good statistic to calculate if it should be used. What are your thoughts if the product is cheap like $20 to $30?

    Yes,
a guarantee will help your sales a great deal.

I think that the longer the guarantee is, say 6 - 12 months, the higher your conversions will be.

I wrote an article about the subject just 2 days ago here:

    Hope this helps
