Amazing Forum Better than the Warrior Forum. You really can earn money If you go to this other Forum

Hi All,

This is espically for new members. However I feel any and all can benefit from visiting another Forum that In My Humble Opinion is better than this Warrior Forum.

You can't do anything at the Forum I'm recommending because it is closed, however you can take some sage advice offered on that forum and bring it back here and make a ton of money.

If you can study the information presented and still can't make that illusive first dollar, you have to go get a job.

I joined that forum a couple of years ago, and then right after I joined it transformed itself. Not sure if they changed because of me or not. But probably not.:p

      TimPears,

CORRECTION! A couple of years ago means TWO years ago.

However, I see that you joined roughly the same time ago -- back in 2008 and now it's 2011 -- so that's 3 years ago now -- which means a FEW years ago (anything more than 2 is a few, not a couple)!

Anyway, the EXACT same thing happened to me .... they changed it to a new format JUST before I joined.... I thought it was because they KNEW that I was going to join which made them make the change. (I had been a lurker for a year or so before I joined)!

Oh well, WELCOME TO THE NEW FORM ... which happened a FEW years ago!

Onwards and Upwards, as some say!

So to that I offer a Wombat challenge. Let's say I have $700 for you and $700 for Tim. I offer each of you the $700 but then say, you can only take a couple hundred.

How much do each of you end up with?

        All the best,
        Michael

Oh how things have evolved... fond memories...

A different culture it was... the collaborations we had as "warriors" and members of the "alliance..."

Of course there are a few still here who can reminisce about the groups that lead to the ceation of that forum.

    The history Allen could share...

Its interesting to see some of that history preserved there...

LOL - brilliant link! Although, from one or two of the responses in this thread, I was wondering if there were spammers around in the good ol' days as well?!

Not nearly as many as there are now. The WF was a different place then...

That's how it goes though. The WF has grown a lot since then. More growth = more junk. But also, for the most part, more quality. You just have to dig a little bit more.

Consider the exponential growth in internet marketing and it's impact on the forum. Look at domain names since the 90's. Or even just last year. Remember some of the one and two word domains we had. Now worth $$$.

I made my post on that thread shortly after I quit my day job back in 2006. Still seems like yesterday to me. Boy have I grown a Lot since back then. I'm very glad to have seen this post, it made me appreciate the journey this has been even more.

Back then, IM still seemed so new to me. Amazing how sticking to something for the long haul changes your beliefs, perspectives and expectations. I can still feel those old feelings of striving, nervous, ambitious, daring, and journeying into unchartered territory for me.

Now, it's just another day at the office. Time to shoot higher again. Thanks a TON for posting that!!

Holy cow, where does the time go? That was really a great blast to the past, George, (a.k.a. Mr. Wright). I remember landing here and soon after Tommy started the Nonsense thread. 80 + pages of what some people thought of as goblty gook that was actually understandable messages to a few. That's where I got my true start - from the people in that thread who picked me up as a newbie and showed me how things work online.

    God I miss that forum.

I thought you were going to give a link to the War Room.

Looking at my Avatar area I can't believe I have been here since March 2003. The more things change the more they stay the same.

This is great. I'm going through it now, and it's really reminding me of how much I appreciate this forum. I was not a part of it "back then", but the value of the Warrior Forum has been immense for me. I will admit, I've been turned off at times and even stayed away for almost the past year due to some of the crap that goes on here (and also to stop reading and start more DOING), but that link has reminded me why I've come back and why I was starting to participate on here in the first place! Awesome stuff, thank you!

My one big regret was that I wasn't a member of the original Warriors group...although I was a bit young when it was first started.

My gosh does time fly when you're having fun!!!

I also remember when Allen posted more often in the main forum, I sure miss his posts. Sure, I have read his stuff in the War Room but wished he would show up more often here. I love it when he slams people (like the trolls, scammers, etc.. lol

The Warrior Forum sure has "evolved".........
