Shopping cart with lowest abandonment rate?

I use ejunkie for my check out and ebook download. But I'm not too happy with the service. Customers have to leave my site and go to there's to check out. I can' t customize the checkout pages with my branding or guarantees.
I'm looking for a solution that will either keep customers on my site or allow me to customize the checkout pages.
Also, ejunkie sends a download link to a customers email. However, they don't verify email address, and at time customers do not receive their link. So a download that is within the checkout process would be great.
What does everyone use here? Does anyone have any tests to share?
