Is Anyone Making Amazon Product Reviews In Video?

Hi all

Im wondering if anyone is creating Amazon product reviews in video and if so is anyone having any success?

I have had some mild success with my own reviews and there are reasons for that. Mainly the site i host the reviews on, is geared towards something else at this stage, but im considering makeing some slight alterations.

Its just that I have seen a ton of WSO's and warriors for hire that make their dough writing reviews and I was wondering if anyone else makes their reviews in video and im interested in discussing, the pro's, con's, potential pitfalls etc...

      I have asked a handful of people here if they would do them for me but have not had a positive response.

      I reckon it adds posture to any product having a face extolling the virtues of a product.

    Without giving specifics- yes I know some Amazon affiliates are using video reviews.

    You may want to include a text review as well though, just because a lot of people hate watching videos.

      People may hate watching videos. But people prefer to watch a video review over reading one, especially when the source is anonymous.

      I have tested this via a split screen method about a year ago. The videos won out by like 76%

    Hi Andrei

    I think video by an actual person who actually owns the product and reviews it as an owner get the most credibility and i search those out for some of my reviews and request to use it from the owner and in many cases they even allow me to add my link to their video.

    I like the idea of your site.

        No I go for people who are not involved in IM

        I tend to pick reviews by people that just buy the product then video themselves un boxing the product, or playing with the product, and in many cases they are not very professional reviews, but I think that adds to the credibility because people know its real.

        Now I only do this for Physical products, and I contact them and ask them to add my link to there video channel and I then also add a call to action above the video so when my site visitors are watching they also have the call to action staring at them.

        I also add a click able call to action on the actual video also which also helps with CTR.

        This method also helps to reduce the bounce rate.

          I must admit that im quite surprised by this thread. Seems not many people are using this method even though it works really well for some people...

          I also am very big on honest reviews! The reviewer must show the product or service otherwise its just seen as a scam or fake review. This is the reason i mentioned earlier that people prefer video, its because written reviews can be faked so easily.
