How To Use the Power of Facebook for Lead Generation

Hi Marketers,

I needed some advice around facebook marketing and hoping an experienced head here might be able to help me.
I've been trying to work out what the best way is to utilize Facebook for lead generation for a business whereby they are looking for financially distressed people who need to sell their house and then move into a debt plans.

So we are looking for people who sort of "have their heads buried in sand" a little and most probably don't want people to know about their situation.

So created a page for financially distressed people to like is not really going to work as i don';t think they would want the world to know they are financially distressed by liking a page.

I also don't think a group is going to work for just the same reason. I tried a facebook ad pointing to a page asking them to email/phone but that did not work great either.

So would anyone be able to recommend a way of getting financially distressed leads through facebook or is facebook not the right platform for these sorts of leads.

    I think it's a matter of framing.

    There's no way people want their friends to know they are financially distressed on Facebook or anywhere else for that matter.

    You might need to take a new approach focusing in on the needs of financially distressed people - like budgeting, counseling, or something else that's "non-threatening."

      First you have focusing on the financially distressed people like approach,needs etc.
      Yes Facebook is the best way increase your lead Generation but you conducts business-to-consumer transactions that indicates a strong presence on Facebook will help you generate traffic and leads online.

    Facebook is a great place to be. A place to make a good amount of leads and money. What you do is connect with people. Don't try to sell them especially in the first message. Instead, send them a thank you message and try to get to know them better. Then tell them to like your page and make sure your fan page has a capture form on it so you can generate some leads with that. Always remember to keep your fan page as active as you can. Comment on other popular comment threads by other fan pages using your own fan page to get some recognition. Also make use of the questions feature. It is very powerful and it's a great way to get new likes and leads.

    Why not focus on offering a solution to there problem rather than pointing out there problem. If you can offer a solution to someones problem - chances are your going to attract what your looking for.

    And an opt-in form to your LIKE page and Offer a complimentary eBook, video or eReport on how to get out of debt.

    People love lists such as: 10 ways to get out of debt now - 5 reason why you're in debt and how to quickly get out.

    Once you have them on a list and on your FB like page you can add more value by giving helpful advise on how to get out of debt. Once you have the relationship established you can promote your product or services to them..

    Social media is about relationship building... Try it - I can almost guarantee results...
