Free Software Creation :)

Hello...

Lately it has been kind of slow, and boring and want to take this opportunity to offer free software/bot creation on WF.

Note I am not an expert so if you post a bot you want made and I do not make it, do not take it personally. I didnt make it because it either required too much work, or it was out of my abilities.

Also, if your program idea requires scraping I might not be able to do it because Im recently learning how to scrape.

So without further ado lets begin

What program do you want made?

bump. lol I thought more people would be interested :/

  • You bumped your own post after 2 hours... Nice. Apparently patience is not your virtue.

I especially liked the NOT EXPERT part. Kind of killed the interest don't you think.

I am offering free Breast Examinations for Breast Cancer Awareness month... but I am not a Doctor.

I get where you're coming at but I dont think thats a reason not to post. For example lets say if someone is choking on food and there are no doctors or "experts" around. Should no one try to help just cause they might not be as experienced as other in the Heimlich maneuver?

Besides this is free. Would you rather pay an expert or suggest an idea to someone who is offering it for free?

And if you dont want to give your million dollar idea away just suggest something you'd like automated.

Trust me, I really am bored, thats why I bumped it in less than two hours :/

OK, I'll bite. Hopefully you can help

I need a personal MELD (model for end stage liver disease) calculator. I can do these calcs on the web, but where I often work from I cannot access the web. So, a convenient little program made specifically for me would be a great asset.

    Here is the equation...

    MELD = 10 x [0.378(Ln bilirubin) + 1.12(Ln INR) + 0.957(Ln creatinine) + 0.643]

"Ln" is the natural log, or "e," where "e" = roughly 2.71828.

I don't what you know or not about logarithms, but just to take the first "bilirubin" part of the above equation, it's asking what power you would raise "e" to in order to get the input bilirubin. If a patient's total bilirubin was, say, 0.6, that part of the equation would say: "2.71828 raised to what power would give me a value of 0.6?" Then that value is multiplied by 0.378. Then so on through the equation.

The equation is used to predict 3 month mortality in patients with liver failure based on billirubin, INR, and creatinine levels. I would need 3 fields in which to input those lab levels. A final number would come up, most likely between 6 and 40 if done right. As a final field, I would like a percentage, which refers to the mortality rate, based on the following:

    Score of:

    40+ - 71.3%
    30-39% - 52.6%
    20-29% - 19.6%
    10-19 - 6.0%
    <9 - 1.9%

As an example, if the final number in the solved equation was 23, the mortality rate would show up as 19.6%, meaning that the patient has an 80.4% chance of living 3 additional months in his/her current clinical state. Yes, it's a cold, hard number, but it is often used to help determine how damaged the liver is and how urgent the need for a new liver is. The higher the number the more likely the person is to be bumped up higher on a liver transplant list.

    Can you do?

It's not enough to want it... you have to want it enough.

, sorry dude. Wish I can help :/. I barely understood any of the math you did xD.

Recommend some automation things or something else...

    Thanks anyway.

I need several things, actually. Nothing math related. Is there a particular type of program you specialize in or would like to do?
