Some good books on selling

I'm on to a new endeavor wich requires face to face and over the phone sales. I was wondering if anyone on the forum knew of some good basic reads that will assist me on the art of selling. I've never been in sales before so a good well written book that covers the basics would probably do me a lot of good. Thanks guys. You always impress me

One good book you can consider is called "How to win friends & influence people" by Dale Carnegie. Thought it is based on an ideal from a time ago, (1930s or something), its ideas still applies now. Good foundation to build your selling skills on. Really good read on how people think and with that, influence people.

    Hope this helps. =)

"How to Sell Your Way Though Life" By Nepoleon Hill is definitely the greatest. It literally changed my life. It teaches you how to influence the customers subconsciously along with everything else you could possibly want to know about personal selling.
