Help Me Find My Niche

If you don't own the primary site (zazzle) then I believe you are not allowed that link in your signature here. Links must be to sites you own personally.

That being said, You should purchase your own domain, and yes - install your own blog.

Once you do that, you want to pick a primary subject for your blog (your niche) and blog about that.

On your own blog you'll be able to add adsense, as well as any affiliate promotional banners you choose from a bazillion different things.

You can find a few products from clickbank (or similar) to really focus on and write about how those products will solve a particular problem.

People looking to solve a particular problem will search with specific key words, and those should be in your blog.

You'll then want to write articles which point to your site (in the resource box) and social bookmark your blog and drive traffic to it.

You need to decide on how you plan to earn money - in other words what online business model will you be using.

Will you be???

- Niche affiliate marketer:

Promote products that have nothing to do with "how to make money"


Make Money Affiliate Model:

- Affiliate marketer of "how to make money" stuff operating in the biz op niche.

Info-Product Model:

- Create your own products:

You create and then sell your own info-products.


Resale/PLR Model:

- Purchase products and present them as you own:

* Same as above except you do not create the product.


- Adsense type of model?

Create pages with content and with ads around the content. You make money when someone clicks on one of the ads around your content.

No one has to purchase anything and you still make money.

CPA Model:

- Get folks to fill out forms and take part in free [product or service trials etc.

No one has to purchase anything and you still make money.

OK...

** These are the main models you should choose from.

Once you decide which model you will use then you can find simple, inexpensive plans for the model.


Then you can get busy with everything from how to find a niche to generating traffic to your offers.

Bottom line, you need to decide on an income model first.

I would brainstorm various niches you have personal interest in and then do keyword research to find those with high searches and manageable competition. Start with this list. Pick about 10 you like and then do keyword research to find the niches you can compete for:

I'd recommend looking on Google Trends or the CBengine for the latest product trends. Just put it in google and see for your self. I bet there are many other sits catching the latest customer product desires.

As to your questions:

Blogs are good, Google loves them.

I personally started outsourcing all the work like article-writing and submitting, i also have some people who can make great squidoo lenses.
Then you link back from the articles and lenses to you blog.
Articles and press releases are always good.
