We don't know. If it was removed by a mod, only they can put it back. That is not automatic.

It depends upon how serious your signature file violation
    was.

Don't even think about setting up a new account so you
can get another username with a signature file. Otherwise
you risk being banned from the forum completely.

If you can't do the time, don't do the crime

Read the forum rules and pay particular attention to the
rules on signature file links, etc.

Make useful posts and do your best to EARN your signature
    file privileges back.

    Dedicated to mutual success,

For your convenience, you may take a glance at the following rules:

    SIGNATURE FILE RULES

    (1) Maximum length of sig file is 5 lines which includes any blank lines used for spaces.

    (2) You are only permitted 1 color in your sig file, this can be any color so long as it's black (hyper links can be blue as they come up this way on the board)

    (3) Sig files may only be written in the normal standard font size.

    (4) You may bold or italicize but that's it.

    (5) No Affiliate Links Allowed - Promote Your Own Domain/s Only. It's either this or we have to cut out sig files altogether which we do not want to do.

    (6) Anyone Caught Promoting The Same Site/Offer Will Be Deleted. Program owners are telling their members to come here and make posts to promote their offer in their sig files. This has caused tons of useless messages to be posted and it is clogging up the forum. Anyone caught doing this will have to be removed. This is not an ad forum - it is a discussion forum.

We have no problem with someone pointing to their WSO within their sig.

Due to certain people trying to find a loophole I needed to add yet another edit. Please do not try to get around these rules by getting your own domain name and simply redirecting it to an affiliate program. You Will Be Removed From Here When Caught.

If you want to promote an affiliate program do it on your own domain. Your own web site. Not a "pre-made" web site. Your own web site, a real one. Then put THAT web site in your sig file.

A simple way to stay within this rule is this:

Promote Your Own Real Web Site And Do Not Listen To Anyone Who Tells You To Come Here Just To Promote A Site They Created For You.
    Signature

Moderator's Note: You're only allowed to put your own products or sites in your signature.

    Signature edited.

Hi wilsonljx, you might want to ask a mod. Also it would probably be a good idea to follow Shuan's advice about earning it back since it probably isn't coming back overnight if you violated the rules. Just post, be nice to others and add value to the forum and I'm guessing you'll have a better shot at getting your sig back.

          I'd advise against that.

Any particular mod wouldn't know (only the one who did it, and we don't know who that is). And, as a side note, the Help Desk wouldn't know either, so don't even consider asking them.

          Now that's good advice.

When your signature is removed, it is going from everywhere, so nobody really has access to your signature to even guess why it was removed. And more than likely no one is going to remember what it used to be.

If you included a direct affiliate link in your signature that's surely going to get you slapped by the all mighty warrior!

My friend once did that and another warrior flagged him but it never resulted in his signature getting removed by the administrators. Maybe it's something new they're toying with?

There are numerous ways to violate the rules and get your signature removed. You could be posting a bunch of junk posts just to get your signature noticed, making comments like "see sig" for more info, etc.
