I know that articles are good for backlinks which is good for seo traffic.

However, if I write 1 article everyday, and submit it to ezine can it still be a good source for getting traffic alone just from ezine articles.

Yes, yes, yes. The key is finding the long tails that aren't competitive. The best part is that if you are running your site along side it, then it is likely you will get a double posting thereby increasing your funnel.

I get all of my traffic from articles until the organic traffic kicks in.

The right keywords and research can get you hundreds of visitors a day
      if you do it right.

Of course, they are going to give you traffic and back links. But remember that you must include highly searched keywords in your article.

how long does organic usually take to kick in if you've fully optimized your site?

I'm wondering this myself. After a couple months I am getting killer traffic from articles but still next to nothing from the search engines.

Personally, I would post more than just one...just because you want to be known as THE expert in your product that you want everyone else's stuff to be put to shame.

If you have time for it, try banging out like three or four. It'll be a little more work for you, but it will create a lot of traffic to your site.

If you are breaking out multiple articles like that, be sure to take the time to link to different pages on your site, and use different anchor text, to get the maximum benefit out of all of this.

This is a good source of traffic, but never put all your eggs in one basket.

Good way to go to zero actually little traffic if anything was to go wrong.

Always spread your risk around, get other places for backlinks.

You really have to look at the whole picture long term. Yes you are doing it for back links but as you continue to submit articles it has a snowball effect.

Yes you still need good keyword or phrases. After several months of commiting to writing quality articles on niches that people are actually searching you should not only see an overal increase in traffic but you may also notice and increase in new longtail phrases you may have never considered and these newly discovered phrases could be used to write new and improved articles ... the possibilities are endless.

The point is you are going for backlinks, PR and traffic.
