What are some trustworthy websites to write for upfront payment? Please remember that I am a non-US citizen so websites like demand studios which only take US citizen won't work for me. Thanks in advance.

    just check out the reviews on here some of the businesses on here have 1000's of reviews just check them all out before paying them

      Hey Sid,

      I don't think any website (which has options of being a writer and earn) where you will be registered as a writer gives you upfront payments. So far I haven't found any and even after you said I again did a little research but nothing found.

        I made some "bank" on oDesk last year, requiring 33% upfront payment. Then, I would either write the material myself, or arbitrage it out using the down payment to pay my writers or the service I used to do the writing...

        Bottom line, you will need to negotiate with the folks you are going to do the writing for.

    If that is a problem, why don't you start right here on Warriorforum? If I remember correctly, a man once wanted to hire you to do his writing. How did you fare? I am talking about some months back when you claimed that you had a problem with finance and you needed help.

      I did pretty well for him but he did not have further requirements. I can't put up an warrior for Hire Ad as have limited time each day and can't do more than 2-3 articles a day.

    Have you tried elance and requesting that your clients make up-front payments or using Fiverr?

        sorry to hear that but I think it depends on how you sell your qualities in providing your service that people looking for such service would trust you. Think back and determine what were the things you missed or failed to do in the past. Re-asses your strategy to improve it. Hope you can be able to make it this time. Good luck!

    I thing you meant this - Since I am not an American citizen, premium article websites like Demand Studios may not accept me.

    - Since I will be in a position to write only two or maybe three articles in a day I don't think I ought to publish a "Warriors For Hire" ad.

    Sorry to be candid, sidcandid, but I have given the examples above to illustrate that, unfortunately, writing is obviously not your forte. You may be better off doing something you are good at. If you continue to try out something that you are not good at without improving yourself, it can get quite frustrating for you.

    Maxp, why would you discourage a willing heart?

    From what I know of this guy, he is WILLING and that's all that matter in success,irrespective of what people may think.

    I remember he came here some months back for the same topic-writing. But he had a little setback at that time and a wonderful man(angel) took him in and offered him a writing job.

    You should have encourage him to improve rather than killing a dream,a possible awesome writer. Who knows?

    Why are you focused on finding websites for this, specifically (as opposed to writing for clients through communities like the Warrior Forum)?

    Anyway, most writers won't start working on a project until they are paid, so asking to be paid up front is not an extreme request. But you won't make a dime until you demonstrate that you are capable of doing the job.

    What this means depends on where you're marketing your services. Here on the Warrior Forum, it means that you need a well-written sales pitch, samples, reviews from other members, and pricing which is commensurate with your skill level.
