Liking someone else s page with the hopes that they will like your page back is not a strategy that works very well on Facebook, it works very well with Twitter but Facebook is a completely different animal all together. The strategy that has worked very well for me on Facebook is that when someone takes action and clicks on your ad or the link in an announcement you have to give them no other choice but to like or share your page in order for them to get whatever it was they are after. If you are giving away a free ebook for example they must like or share your page before they can receive the free ebook.
