Why Aweber Stats Are Different

I felt this was useful for you guys...

This has bothered me for quite some time now.

My question:

My problem is the subscriber stats at Home and Web Form do not match.

At Home, it shows 122 (Grand Total) but at the Web Form, it shows 150 submissions.

What's going on?

Aweber's Answer:

Hello Alfred,

A lot can go into affect as to why the numbers do not match up.

The submissions track how many times the submit button has been clicked.

So for example, if a subscriber double clicks that will be considered as 2 instead of 1.

Also say a subscriber signed up a while ago and forgot and then came back to sign up again, but received the "Already Subscribed" message. That will be considered one also.

Again, it reflects on how many times the actual submission button has been clicked.

I apologize for the inconvenience, however if you have any further question please do not hesitate to let us know.

Have a great day!

Hope this has been useful to some.
