What is that question mark beside my Site in the search engines ?

Is this something that has been there and I just haven't noticed it up until today ?? Or is this something new ??

Anyway, all of my sites in the google Search engines have this question mark beside instead of the OK sign by them as all the others have. And it says it has been 'untested' by Norton. What is all this ??
(Funny thing is I pay a yearly subscription for Norton security !)

Then I have to verify this site and to do this I have to paste meta tags in my homepage. (which one is the homepage in the editor at Wordpress ?)

I've never seen that in the serps. I just did a search to see if I could see it, but no, there was no question marks.

This is weird because every serp keyword I put it all the Sites have an 'ok' or a '?' right next to the first line (or Title) of their site. If you hover over the 'ok' it says site is safe. If you hover over the '?' is says the site is untested .

Is anyone else seeing this ?

      Thanks

P.S. Which Page is the home page in the editor at WP ??

Sounds like something your Norton software is doing and not the search engine itself. Kaspersky was doing something similar when I was searching Google. It bothered me, so I turned it off. You'll need to either ask Norton in their forums or look in Norton's help files.

By jove, I think she's got it. I was using McAfee and there was a little green check. I stopped using it and now there are no checks.

A good tip for webmaster: register with symantec/mcafee so you can get your sites verified with them. Should give you that green tick which could help with ctr.
