Facebook - Limited Reach

Hey Guys,

I'm running into a problem where my reach rarely surpasses 1-5% of my entire target demographic. For example, I can an education offer on FB with a target demographic of 50,000 students, and it stopped getting impressions at around 400 reach and 1,000 impressions. I don't think it's related to poor CTR - this one was performing at ~0.11%.

I've tested this with CPC and CPM pricing models and I run into the same problem with both. Does anyone know what the problem is?

    Try and optimize your add more. Start split testing your fb ads. Run 3 different campaigns with 3 different age groups. The one that outperforms the rest is the one to target. Then start changing the headline and the one that does better, focus on that one. Then change the picture and so on. Just play with the ad then you will get surprised. I know someone who gets a CTR of around 50% paying $.01 per click. That only happens if you optimize your ad. That's why it's very important to optimize it.

    All great advice from Zafra. I had this problem once and fixed it by specifying my list even more, and minimizing the keywords. Even though my demographic was less, it was more targeted therefore higher CTR
