What aspect of IM is your primary focus and why?

With the vast array of experienced marketers on this forum I think it would be insightful to know what your primary focus is in IM. Is it

Blogging
Flipping websites
Affiliate Marketing
Continuity programs
Selling your own products
Copywriting
Video Creation

I think you get the idea. I realize that many do a combination of things but what is your main focus and why? What intrigues or interests you the most about it?

I would have to say that "driving traffic" is my number one focus day to day, and for me that is achieved through multiple methods. as far as what aspect is the most important for me, it would have to be the continuity. No matter how many sales I make each month, if i didnt have a continuity program, I would have to do it all over again next month.

      I would have to say:

      Creating niche blogs/sites
      Promoting my own products
      Affiliate marketing

This is what takes up most of my time.

    Driving Traffic

I find driving traffic (which includes SEO) to be the most important thing I need to focus on because it ties in with the other two. I only focus on free traffic because, well, it's free. I just find it fascinating to tweak my sites, submit articles, etc. and see the results as my sites slowly crawl up Google.

Basically, I like networking the most. Focussing on networking with peer groups, be it blogging, flipping or any other field, is of prime importance in buolding a long term growth strategy. It is for networking only that I am here on WF, and indeed, I am finiding this place better than a lot of other forums at present

hhmmmmm a good question there is always so much going on at any one time its hard to understand the core at times. I would have to say my primary focus is driving traffic that converts and building ads that convert. Getting a good balance between this and tracking your results I think are key. Would you rather drive 1,000 visitors to your site where no one signs up or drive 1,000 visitors where 10 sign up? Your gonna want to track your ads and place your time and efforts into the ones that are working. I find to spend the bulk of my time doing just this.

I think that getting the traffic to my webpage is my number one focus day to day, whether it be for free or paid, to me its always the most exciting! I also think a continuity of traffic or sales is also vitally important to your business plan as you want to be able to continually generate a significant amount of income on a daily basis, and rely on it to a certain degree. :-)

At the moment my main focus is 1) Driving traffic to my blog and 2) Social networking and interacting with people. I think traffic is crucial if you are wanting to have a popular blog or increased affiliate sales.

Lavaleekathy - I'm the same! I love monitoring my traffic and seeing what works and what doesn't. It's all part of the fun blogging.
