Private Online Directory Wordpress Website

Hey,

I'm trying to setup a directory of contact information using information using wordpress but I also want the user to have to login to get access to the directory. Anyone have any ideas on how I could do this?

    Login to your WP, and click on the widgets, and put the meta widget on your sidebar.
    You might want to use the S2 Member Plugin, and set everyone one up as a subscriber. That way you will have it in place if you decide to setup paid memberships later on.

    All I want is the home page to have a login screen that has the option for you to enter a username and a password. Once you log in, I want the user to have access to a list of contact info.

    Any other suggestions?

      Sure thing. WP Member is still a free plugin last time I checked (over a year ago) and it will do exactly what you are looking for and a lot more if you want.

      They may have changed a feature or two but it used to be page specific as to your login page.
