I'm stepping back into the IM arena after a little hiatus. I first realized the opportunity that was available online in 2007 after looking through some "Make Money from Home" mags. My first venture was a "direct sales" program where one of the top earners was making over 6 figures a month. I quickly blew threw 100's of dollars in advertising(ppc, e-zines) and was making no return. From there I jumped program to program blowing 1000's of dollars.

I finally came across clickbank and other aff. marketing opportunities where I saw crazy potential. I finally realized that i wasnt getting the right traffic and without the right traffic I was never going to get the results that I wanted. My so called "mentors" over the years have shown me every color smoke and every size of mirror out there. I'm ready for some real help and guidance and I feel that I will be able to find that here. First goal: How to get traffic lol

  • How did you know it was the wrong type of traffic? Was your offer not converting? If so, did you test your offer? Are you sending traffic to a squeeze page and testing/tracking your marketing funnel? It's difficult to convert a lead into a sale without warming them up first.

    • I guess I look at it as inefficient traffic. When I was blowing a lot of money on ppc with very little return in terms of leads. Also, I didnt value my list early on and didnt keep track of it like i should've.

  • Yeah, spit through the Warrior Room section and you'll find lots of golden nuggets.

    Creating your own WSO is the way to go ;-)
  • I use Tweet Attacks PRO for traffic, then I also use Scrapebox/SeNuke X to rank my websites for my keywords in search engines, which brings in organic traffic in the end.

    Also, I don't really like clickbank (but thats just me)

    PS: I know I'm a member but to be honest I don't even use the war room. Haven't clicked a thread in there and probably wont.

    I mainly upgraded to get rid of the stupid advertisement and to raise my PM storage to 400. You can't run a successful business (because yes, it IS a business) with only 10 PM storage.. lol that alone was worth the 37 dollars if you ask me.

    But you never know, if you got 37 bucks laying around that you can afford to spend, try it out.. Maybe something in there will help you
  • 3 ways to get traffic... #1.. Buy it #2.. Learn SEO #3.. Social Media - forums, facebook, twitter, bookmarking, youtube, blog commenting, etc.

    #1 can be expensive if you don't know what you are doing, although once you do, it can deliver great results. #2 is awesome for long term results and is easy to learn, #3 is effective but time consuming.

    • Yeah, Ive tried buying and have never really been to satisfied with that. I've used press releases to get on SEO, would like to learn some other ways. I'm thinking about hitting the social stuff too.
