Yes it's amazing to get that first sale.

I remember when I got mine - many years ago now and it's one of those things that stays with you because it was a massive thing - it meant the difference between 'thinking' it is possible to make money online and 'knowing' it is achievable.

The thing to do now is work out just how you want to grow your business. It's not a direct relationship where you can say "write x amount of articles and I'll make $xxxx a month" - some articles will never make you any money and some will make more than others.

I have around 25,000 articles online now and some have been there for over 10 years and never made a single cent, others have made me thousands of dollars.

It's important to using tracking codes and watch what is working for you - otherwise you'll miss opportunities to maximise what is working and you'll repeat things which don't work.

It will make the difference between needing hundreds of articles or thousands (I know, I learned this the hard way from being too lazy to track a lot of my actions).

Well done for getting those first sales - keep up the hard work and I'm sure you'll see more.

It seems that you guys misunderstood me. I didn't mention that this was my very first two sales in my career. I'm only saying that I got two affiliate sales from just articles...not first sales.

yes, it means your article is great and it converts traffic to sales. Maybe you have successfully presold the audience before they jumped into the aff site..

Article marketing has always work for me. The trick is to submit 10 articles per month to at least 10 ezine sites and be sure to track.

To optimize convesion, repurpose those articles into vidoes and submit them to at least 10 video sites
and finally spin content and post on blogs.

You will be amazed at the conversions from these 3 simple steps alone.
