I understand you need to put them in the title and description of the video. Is it important to put them anywhere else like within any text in the Video

What is the best way to try and get these videos to rank for these keywords?

Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks

    Hi Moneyland

First off make sure you've researched your keywords carefully. I assume you're using youtube. This will help: https://ads.youtube.com/keyword_tool

The keyword just needs to be in the title, description and keywords area.

You need to do backlinking and backlinking for videos is done the same way as you would for websites. You can also use Tubemogul for this. It's a site that uploads your video to 24 video sites. You also have Traffic geyser which is a paid service that can share your videos to 80+ video sites.

You also need to increase your video views. You can do that with Free Youtube Views | Buy Youtube Views.

That is such a great tool, and, unfortunately, very few people know that it exists! After all, people search for very different things on YouTube than they do on Google, so it's important to have the right information before you start targeting certain keywords!

Traffci Geyser is agood tool but some sites will accept your video after they review it, in some of them it has to be your own video and no be with commercial purpose.

For sites like Facebook the video has to be less than 2 minutes long.
Anyway I would advice you to use it, there is an almost free trial. But to use at most Traffic Geyser make a decen aricl including your keywords and put a link to your video. That will bring in traffic.

Put your video as a response in al the related videos having more than 100,000 views, to promote yours.

Thanks everyone for tips and blue river, what do mean by this

I was thinking of using Tubemogul or just submitting to a handful of the best directories. Is it better to set up separate accounts for each of your niches within each Video directory or just put them all under the same account:confused:

I know many people increase video views - do people do this because the videos will rank better or is it because if it looks popular people are more likely to click....
        Thanks!

Increasing social engagement (likes, views, comments) should increase the visibility of the video. It's a factor that's considered by Youtube/Google.

I would not advise you to put any keywords in your video. Your keywords are there only to best descibe your video; use the standard method given in YouTube to add your keyword/s. When submitting your video/s to, for instance, YouTube, focus on sending quality content that adds value to viewers. I also advise that you keep your keyword/s description of your video, to a minimum, in other words, only the most applicable keyword/s.
