Hi all, so I'm planning on making a new product soon to launch but I've never really created a product before or launched one.

Can you leave your suggestions on how I should do it and more importantly, the stratergies, etc,

I would like to hear what what would like to buy..

Thanks
Kashi

I think it would be the best for you to find some JV partners to help you by promoting your product to their lists... but of course, you should have an affiliate program for that product so they can have some benefits from helping you out... or at least you could offer some ad swaps...

Next, there is an option to pay someone to do promotion to their lists, which is good option...

And again, there is a WSO thread here so you could go with WSO listing on this forum... that should work well if you have a good product...

Anyway, wish you luck with your product launch

It's a lot better to launch a product on something that you know something about that people want to know about rather than ask people what they want and launch a product on something you know absolutely nothing about.

The market doesn't need more rehashed info products from non-experts.

Lots of ways to create infoproducts out there...some good resources include:

    Think like your customer.

What would your customer like to learn?

Then think how you can deliver the solution to that in the the way that works best for you.

For example, some people love making videos. I personally don't, but hey, that's me. You can make a video to solve a customer's problem.

Some people love writing ebooks. I've written 35+ of 'em over the years! So you can write an ebook that steps your readers thru how to solve their issues.

Some people like to do webinars or teleseminars or smoke signalars/etc.

It all comes down to what *you* do the best...and then how you can transfer that knowledge to your customers.

    Hope that helps!

Definitely JV, and seed the net via web 2.0 as well. I've had a ton of success over at my Seo Tools Universe – The Black Hat, White Hat Tool and Service Directory in having listings propogate over various web 2.0 sites (linkedin, twitter, yammer, etc).

The more buzz around something, the better the contextual online presence.

    Hi!

Here is a really good advice:
Spend at least the same amount of time that has taken to create a product for product sales page and advertisement. Title and sales page will make you or break you. You need to get visitors attention right away!

Also if your customers are well educated or even IM-ers don't try any marketing strategy on them, which will insult their intellect.
