Yes, I suspect that is exactly correct, the market for (Ghost Writing) is an expensive one, I recently put out feelers as part of some research to see if I could find a ghost writer, to do some work for me, and I got lots of offers but most of them were like people that wanted, to charge fees that were just outrageous, One person (who admitted that they had never actually been published,) wanted $6500.00 to do 200 pages of double spaced content, I had to ask them what they were bringing to the table in a ghost writing capacity, (resume, or other references) they had none, after a frank discussion I learned that the ghost writer had determined their rates from looking around at what others were charging...

I have to say, Wow, In some ways it is much like buying insurance, for example Geico, spends billions of dollars every year advertising about how much money that they may save you, but state farm, was actually 300 percent cheaper than Geico.

The lesson learned is that you cannot take anything at face value, just because someone represents themselves to be a Ghost writer, does not mean that they are a good writer at all, nor does it mean that they can write in the first place.

It is a lonely road, but if you are intent on finding someone that can help you, keep at it, because when you do find a reasonable provider it is like gold in the bank.
