sub domains or dedicated domains?

Hi Guys

He's the question....I have a range of products to launch under a single brand and I will be setting up a blog on the main URL for the brand.

My question is should I use sub-domains to create mini sites for each product, use dedicated domains or is there a better way of setting this up via a WP theme like Profits Theme?

    From a maintenance perspective, surely running all products through one place will be more manageable.

    I agree but having mutltiple landing pages for different affiliate networks/different products, setting up different membership access for variouss products from within one site seems like a nightmare....so my thoughts were to have the main site and link to the various products mini sites using sub-domains...

      I always worry about having too many mini sites as it becomes a nightmare to manage and a pain in the butt to build backlinks to all of them.In saying that, if it sounds like just as much work using one big site and it becomes a flea market rather than being focussed and targeted, I would go for several sites.You may find that you will do the majority of the work on the performing sites anyway.

    Yeah Lee...think I'm going with a central blog then mini sites on sub-domains, just has a more organised feel about it to me ;-)

    That's the way I set up my blog business. Main site and the subdomains for different niches. It's organized.
