If you're fed up of all those thinly disguised affiliate sites posing as review sites, or you just want inspiration about how to do decent reviews you couldn't do better than check out this photography site

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ48 Review | PhotographyBLOG

Thousands of words covering every aspect of the camera (pros, cons, sample photos, sample videos, comparisons with similar cameras . . . ).

I'm not a camera buff (I'm just looking for a new camera) but I've spent quite a while on this site already and it's bookmarked for future reference.

Yes, they have affiliate links and advertising, too.

Martin,
I the site you listed I see the PriceGrabber logo near the bottom of the page. I believe they charge member merchants on a cost-per-click basis for displaying their ads. Still, that's a pretty classy (and detailed) review page. Made me want to buy one! --Mike

Wow!..that is a 'meaty' review site...It's funny, I was looking at getting that Panasonic Lumix camera awhile back - never saw any review as thorough as that.

Nikon D60 review Cameralabs introduction

I spent quite a bit of time on this site before buying my Nikon D60 - exactly as recommended: a good entry level DSLR camera

Even among IM product review sites there are of course some legitimate reviews, although it's been awhile since I've actually looked at the latest ones.

  I would love an example of a real review site for IM products...... Imagine a real detailed review site for IM products that was only there to offer non biased real reviews. I cannot imagine it so anyone have some links to the best IM product review site please share.... ( keep the WF rules in mind, if it's your own site it is not good idea to put the link in )
