How to Start an Online retail Business

Hello All,

I am a newbie to Warriorforum.So i thought this is the best place to ask my questions.
I am a Srilankan. i am a freelance web developer.
I thought that all of you know there is a huge untapped eCommerce market in South Asia.Srilanka is one of them.Unfortunately there isn't any Major online retailer in srilanka right now.I have an idea to Start a Some kind eCommerce Business related to Online retailing.

Most of my targeted products are USA products.Because Srilankans love to buy USA Brands.But they haven't any Chance to buy them Online.(Buy.com,amazon,walmart don't ships to srilanka)..

My question is how do i find products to sell???Dropshipping isn't the right method.Because Most USA Dropshippers don't ship Outside USA.

I have seen there are many indian online retailers(flipkart.com,infibeam.com,letsbuy.com) offer wide range of products for reasonable price with 2-3 delivery time...How do they Do like that???
Do they Store such a huge product inventory in their warehouses??
Please Give me Your Suggestions about Online retail industry
