Do market research i.e whether it is PROFITABLE or NOT

Hello warriors,
I am new to IM and after purchasing a few products i decided to make my own products and sell it online.

I want to ask a few questions on this regard:

1. How to pick a micro-niche and know that there is a market for it?(Whether it is profitable or not)

2. How to research information for my product quickly and provide quality?

Thanks for your time!!

Wow, you managed to wait five whole minutes before bumping this thread because no one answered you? You must have the patience of a saint!

If you don't get an answer in 12-24 hours, a bump is okay most of the time. Five minutes will tend to piss people off, FYI...

    1. Is anyone else selling anything? Are there paid advertisers? Have they been advertising for long?

In general, if there are people willing to lay out cash for ads over a period of time they are making money from those ads. Whether the product on offer in the ad is profitable or not is a tougher question. Once you know your numbers, it's quite possible to lose a bit on every front end sale and make a bundle on the back end.

Even if the microniche is profitable for an advertiser, it's no guarantee it will be profitable for you.

    2. Use authority sources for research. I'm sure someone will chime in and suggest simply buying a PLR product, but that's a crap shoot when it comes to research. Some will come up 7, but there are a lot more that come up snake eyes.

Don't do factual research by skimming a few articles in a directory, especially on technical or medical issues. Many of those writers are pretty good at including keywords, but wouldn't know a fact if it bit them on the arse...
