Drag & Drop Website builder business??

Hey Warriors,

I was was wondering if someone knows of any script or clone of Homestead.com or
citymax.com
websites-now.net
sitebuilderinteractive.com

The reason I'm asking is because I build a lot of small websites for people and I want to have all of them built in something like homestead.com but I want to have my own script instead of sending clients to Homestead, I want to send clients to my own company or site.

So if you know of clone or just a custom script, please let me know.

Thank you in advace.

Hi Your best bet would be to use wordpress templates or purchase some. Then the Only thing you have do is change the color scheme, backgound or side bars.... and that's it!

Beside it's best to tell your clients that you are building a wordpress sites instead of a homestead sites. Because Wordpress can traffic to you site automatically whereas homestead can't because it's not SEO optimize for the search engines. Hope this helps God bless!

  • Most business doesn't want the learning curve of web building. This is why you create a turn key package... hosting, design, set up, and maintenance. Why would you not want to take full advantage of the entire package?

Reseller hosting accounts are cheap. You can teach practically anyone how to add content to a WordPress site. Then you can log in and make sure it's structured, do the SEO, etc.

+1 for WordPress... simple, easy to maintain, clients have to return to you or you can sell the the site to do on the own later.

    How about squarespace.com?
It's a drag and drop theme and they take care of your hosting etc., you can have a developer account that will charge your clients.

I am not sure if this helps or not, but my offline clients generally tell me to "use my best judgment" in creating the web site for them while they do more important things like bringing in more customers to their business. They just take a quick look, nod in approval, and cut me a nice check!

If you like doing the intricacies of designing a website for each and every client, then definitely, what you're doing with the design tweaks is awesome and perhaps staying with the personal one-on-one design might not be a bad thing? If you are trying to get away from spending too much time with catering to design quips from clients, then I have to agree with olliepa in that offering a few clean-cut designs might be the best way to go!

Best of luck! And keep up the good work!
