WP site, What theme is this?

8 replies
So I was looking around on google and I found this site, I really like it's layout (looks a lot better/more professional than various adsense themes) But I don't think I could make something that looks like it in artisteer.

So, if you recognize this wordpress theme, let me know what it is (woo theme? I see it sort of mentioned looks at the source code)

Also, two more questions, do you think this theme is more seo friendly than something like bluesense/heatmap-theme. And does anyone have any thoughts (other than test, test, test) on which of the two would have higher ctr for adsense ads?

    Heres the url for the theme in question...

    WordPress › Spectrum « Free WordPress Themes

    Looks like there are some customizations such as a second top menu and a few other things but for your other two ?s I have no clue as i have never used them.

    Hope that helps.

      Thank guys. Though it seems that it was customized a bit too much for my (lack of) knowledge of css etc. Wonder if I can build something similar in artisteer.

    As far as SEO, you can get the free "All-in-one" plugin, and should do the trick... iit's the only one I use.

    If you go to the spectrum demo (on Woo Theme's site) and select the style "blue" or "blue minimal" it's almost exactly the same. The only noticeable difference is the top navbar. Woo themes has an awesome options panel. There's a spot for custom css.

    Just slap this in there:

    #top-nav {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #E4E9ED;
    }

    It should override the black navbar which is #000000.

    If that doesn't work or you can't figure it out, just have someone on fiverr do it for you. It'll take him or her 5 minutes max.

    Clickbump is often mentioned as a good theme (from memory, it uses the Woo Framework) for Adsense sites.
