How to contact Fiverr seller?

I 've searched the forum and there are many posts about tricks for sellers to make their contact details available to buyers, via youtube videos, flickr etc.
However, if the seller has chosen not to upload youtube videos and nothing comes up in google when searching for his/her fiverr username. Is there any way for buyer to get their email without jeopardizing buyer's or seller's account? If I owned the business I'd hate if people were trying to settle outside my website, but I am not talking about paying for gigs directly. I want to offer that person a part time or full time job.
The only way I can think of is, after buying a gig, I will send a link to the webpage where I uploaded their work. I'll add my contact details to that page, so the seller may or may not choose to contact me for more work.

  • I think you're making this harder than it needs to be.

Buying a gig is the best way of getting this person's attention. Then when you submit the information they ask for, give them your email address too. Just spell it out and don't use the @ sign; i.e. f l u f f y t h e w o n d e r c a t a t y a h o o dot com. Or you could send them a link to your WF profile. Or your Facebook page. Or any number of things.

Also, don't ever use words like 'contact' or 'email' it will send up red flags for fiver. Say things like 'find me on...' 'get in touch with me' or "link with me"

So is this safe? If I avoid certain words to bypass the filters I should be OK? I hope the seller won't report misuse, why should they, but you never know.

I doubt that a seller would report a buyer. You could write that you have a few questions and then link to a webpage and have your info there or else as was said, spell it out. It probably is safest to link to a webpage. I know that sellers can attach a file and I see people use that as a way to leave their contact info. I believe a buyer can upload a file to seller too, so that is another way.

I'm a seller on Fiverr, and I ended up getting in contact with a fellow warrior, because he bought one of my fiverrs, and mentioned he was on the forum.

I had some great collaberation ideas, so, told him I was coreworkouts, and I would see him on the forum. He contacted me through the forum.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. As long as the sellers feel you're making a legitimate offer and not just spamming them, it's no big deal. I've included contact info and upsells and not had a problem with it.

Put your contact details in a text file and upload them as an attachment. This done all the time and I have made great contacts from fiverr. Almost all sellers I have done business with has done this.
