Clickbank Did it, When Will the Warrior Forum Do it?

The Warrior Special Offer Forum used to be one of my favorite places to find high quality cutting edge products from which struggling new product owners were trying to get started or some old savvy product creators used it to get a jump on testing for the launch of their new products. Now, it is slowly being filled with pure crap. Yes, the same high quality guys are still there, but you have to wade through a ton of rehashed PLR or reused products that were thrown together overnight to find the "REAL" products that are worth buying or trying.

Plus, even the buyers here get pissed if they find a good product and the price is over $7 or $17.

Here is the reality check. If there is a product which will make you $2000 per day on Amazon or some silly claim like this, would the creator of that product really sell it for $7??? Or even $17???

More likely if you had that kind of information or a software tool that would do this, you would sell it for $700 or $7000. Right?

You have to evaluate the claims here before jumping in with both feet.

I think it is time for some more stringent rules to be applied to the WSO section. Approval is very easy and I guess that is because it is an easy $40 for every bump, but the quality guidelines which are outlined in the WSO section are not being adhered to at all. If they were, we wouldn't have this problem. I think it is because the forum has become such a cash cow now that the original intent and quality guidelines have been forgotten. Nothing really has to be changed, just some more quality control.

Clickbank has cracked down. I saw an email from a very big "Guru" today complaining about Clickbank's new policies on vendors telling the truth in your sales letters. He said that Clickbank won't let us Market to the web like we should be able to.

Translated, this means he was pissed because he couldn't lie in his Marketing on Clickbank anymore. Maybe this same principle should be applied here and the fake screen shots of profits and other pure junk need to be removed to clean this up and bring us back to where this forum used to be.

Just my 2 cents.

A long string of stale old arguments was here. It's been deleted.

You know the single most rehashed thing on this forum? Nonsense arguments about the WSO section. This particular group of "claims" has been "rehashed" repeatedly, every week, for ages.

If you find PLR products in there, report them. We remove them or move them to the classifieds section when we're made aware of them.

If you see any product that you believe breaks any of the rules, report it.

As far as the quality of the products... I've had to delete a number of comments this week from people who said things like "The price is too high. This is the WSO section. This isn't the place for offers that are so expensive."

Newsflash, kids: This is not a dollar store. If you demand low prices, you're often going to get low quality. And if you expect the whole section to be a discount rack at a knock-off store, you're encouraging the folks who haven't the skill or experience to produce anything useful.

In short: You did it to yourselves.

Want to save yourself some trouble? Think before buying.

People with very few posts aren't all bad sellers, but that's a Really Good Sign that they're just here to peddle something they cobbled together for a quick few bucks. They're acting on the recommendation of someone who told them this was a good "starter marketplace."

Don't buy offers that include promises of specific results.

Don't buy from blind ads. If the seller doesn't want to give you any info on what their product is about, don't give them your money.

Don't expect to get great products for $3 every time you click a buy button.

If you're an experienced person, don't expect startling revelations in every item you buy. It's not going to happen.

Post honest comments on the products after buying. (Note: Products, not sellers.)

Buy what you need to make your plan work. If you don't have a plan yet, don't buy stuff at random.

Adjust your expectations to meet reality. Trying to do the opposite is guaranteed to get you only one thing: Disappointment.

    There's your reality check, Michael.
