Advertisment Management Plugins for WordPress
Quick question.
I'd be interested to know from those of you that carry third party adverts on your sites (banner ads etc, WordPress sites specifically) what software you are using to manage it?
So far I only seem to be able to find very simple banner rotators (that don't cope with campaigns, or retargeting, DNF headers or even impression/click tracking etc) or huge behemoths like OpenX and Google DFP. There simply seems to be no middle ground.
Historically we've always used either OpenX or DFP, but it seems huge overkill for some of the simpler sites we're running. We've developed something in-house to address it, but if there is as big a gap in the market as it seems, we may consider releasing it (possibly as a WSO).
