Different stats from Google keyword tool

Hi Warriors,

I am getting different numbers for some keywords I am researching using google keyword tool. I see a different numbers from two different computers. Why is this? Has anyone come across this before?

  • Make sure you are searching for exact match keywords and haven't chosen to search for keywords from any country from the list

    Yeah check your country filter - do your computers have different locales for the keyboard? eg US versus UK english.

    That keyword tool is a funny beast. I have access to the AdWords API (same data allegedly) and Google forums is filled with people complaining about the data differences.

    Thanks guys, I have figured out what the problems was. My country filter was set at US for one and UK for the other, hence the conflicting stats.
