Buying traffic to squeeze pages

Hello there! I'm working on a clickbank strategy based on building targeted email lists, I have a monthly budget to invest on buying traffic to my squeeze pages. I'm just not sure where and how to buy this traffic, I mean the best converting ways. I am wondering if you can share your experiences with me or advice me about that. CPC or CPA, is CPA what network would you go for? How much is the average converting rate you are getting from your ad investments? Thank you in advance

I don't know about your niche, but in my case I use Facebook Ads, and works perfect. I use them to build my list and then I promote to my list. I pay on avg $0,15 per click.

    my 2 cents...

If you are in the IM niche, then why not come up with a valuable product, maybe a video course and build your list by offering the course in the WSO sub-forum.

If you have a real valuable freebie product, you can get a lot of warriors on your list and build a targeted one.

I usually buy solo ads and that has worked out really well for me. If you can find a reliable place to advertise and can write a good email you can build a list super fast this way. Out of all the people that opt in to my email list, I usually get 3-5% to buy a 50 dollar product right away which more than pays for the traffic I bought.

I know some people have mixed feelings about solo ads but all I can say is that they work great for me.

I've done it also and it has worked pretty good for me too. Most of the times it paid for itself in the first campaign.

Whatever you do, DON'T use Google AdWords to drive traffic to a squeeze page. I did, and they shut my account .

      +1.

I no longer use Google (they didn't shut down my account), but have had my account suspended multiple times for no reason whatsoever.

I would also stay away from Google Adwords in the mean time until you've learned other ways to gain traffic first. Adwords has gotten pickier and quicker to suspend accounts pretty even more so since the last PANDA update.

Unless, you've got the money and the time to learn and trial your way through, I wouldn't start off with that.

If you're building a list, I recommend what others are saying:

        (1) Solo Ads
        (2) Ad Swaps (check those out in the JV section)
        (3) Create a useful guest post on someone else's blog or website that's already getting a lot of traffic and the kind of traffic you're looking for. Provide a link in your article or article bio that leads to your list.

This is ideal for the Internet marketing niche or similar teaching/info-related niches.

Social networking sites are very good resources to get traffic to your squeeze page. I get good result from facebook and twitter. But I get the traffic freely. I know facebook ads is very effective. But I suggest you learn to use facebook ads in the right way before you begin your campaign. Otherwise you will waste money.

      Hello,

apart from SEO to get some organic traffic I would go with facebook ads because you can target your visitors very well. Just do your research with quantcast and you can get evry cheap and tageted traffic. And facebook is a great place to offer them freebies.
You can create facebook fanpages too which are free to use. And free traffic is the best traffic

Video marketing on youtube works good too. An informative video about your offer and some backlinks and views to your video can give you a lot of good traffic to your sqeeze page.

Media buys on related sites of your topic is a good way to go too. You can find sites by searching your general topic on google and find ranked sites which are offering ads or go to sites like buysellads to buy ads.

Another way is to buy twitter ads on sites like twittad. This works well with free offers too.

      Hope that helps
      Mirko

As the others say I would also recommend buying email solos. This can build your list fast, I don't know your budget but if you have a nice converting sqeeze page then you should be able to get alot of opt ins.

Email swaps is great too. Just be sure to keep an eye on your list number. The problem when you do swaps is that you can alot of times get pretty bad content that your list might not be used to, and they unsubscribe.

It's a little bit tricky but be sure to not do a swap everyday, because most of the times they get sent to a squeeze page and when they been sent to a squeeze page 7 days in a row they will probably get a little annoyed

There are some good ad swap sites out there with rating and stuff and that helps alot too!

    Good Luck

    Btw...

I missed a HUGE important thing when buying solos.

When buying email solos. Look for the guys that use YOUR swipe and then do NOT redirect your traffic after your clicks been reached.

Last time I bought 100 clicks and got 214.

It's important that they will use the swipe YOU give them because then you can customize the email in a way that will get you visitors that are almost 100% ready to do what you want when they get to your site.

Alot of people miss this and do a swipe like any other, like they do to their list.

    WRONG.

You allready bought your guaranteed clicks. Make sure they pay off and that they know what You want them to do.

    Once again, Good Luck

If you just begin your IM,I recommend you use the free SEO methods, article marketing, blog comment.Of course, you should provide good content ,such as a related e-book or report, video in your squeeze page. When you are familiar with it,you can use some paid methods, such as solo ads,Facebook ads,PPC,etc.
