What would you do with 50$?

Hey guys,

I have 50$ to spare on my paypal account and I was wondering what was the best way to invest it. I know web design and I'm pretty good at it might I add... I'm looking for the best investment possible that would give me the best return in the least time possible. Anyone has suggestions?
#50$

Well, I recently spent $25 on a silver double-bladed axe charm and turned it into:

This was an *awesome* investment for me (huge backstory) because it continuously reminds me of my Inner Hero. Every time I might doubt myself, I have but to look at my wrist and *remember*.

Can't put a price on that!

So I'd say, what object/keepsake/etc. can you put by your computer to help keep your focus?

Definitely such a thing is a worthwhile investment!

    I would do it:

    1) Choose a profitable keyword to create a site on. If you cannot do it yourself, just hire someone to do it for you, probably charges around $10 for it per keyword. The keyword should have low competition, have an EMD available and the average CPC should be more than $1. Oh, I forgot, the local monthly visitors (US in this case) should be around 2000 or more.

    2) You have to register a domain and buy 3 months hosting. In total, it should cost you $30 (I use GoDaddy, not sure about others).

    3) Write a few articles yourself on the keyword around of 500 words each. You cannot outsource everything, when you are on a low budget.

    4) Buy a couple of link-building gigs from Fiverr. Chose wisely, select the ones with good ratings and those which provide high PR inner page links. Stay away from those who offer 1000 or 10000 of links.

That's good investment for me for $50. You can get money by putting ads in your site or build a list and later resell something to them.

If you have $50 why not you spend it on seeking more about Web services. Just web designing is not enough. You should have to seek enough knowledge on search engines.

Why not you know something about Google linking strategies, to deal perfectly with HTML codes or others. What do you know which tag is important for website to take it up in Google Search.

I know there is a lot of questions, about this in your mind now. Seek SEO and SMM to make yourself expert in all web services field.

This is the best investment and you gain more in Future due to these expertise.

Further it depends on you also, what you like.

    All the Best!

Your post is way too vague for me to offer a suggestion about what you should spend money on. If you're looking for something that will earn you online income, you need to figure out what you would like to focus your attention on learning first.

Personally, I'd hold on tight to that $50 until I knew exactly what business model blueprint to invest in that provides me the most bang for the buck.

There are a lot of things you can do with $50 some not so smart. Without your focus and dedication that $50 could be totally wasted. Figure out what you are good at or maybe something you can offer to buyers that are in demand of that product or service. Use that $50 toward business capital.

Get your mind cleared. See what direction you want to go with IM, as it is such a big game. Affiliate marketing, niche marketing, doing CPA, etc...

You are the person that is going to make things happen. Ultimately you decide. Their are some pretty good responses given here in this thread, but do note they talk out of their perspective. So it might not even be for you.

Read the information on this and see what you want to do, then if you have idea, ask for views from other warriors on this idea and then decide to go on with it.

No offense intended but if you have to ask in such a general way, you probably shouldn't invest it or spend it on anything.

I KNOW what I would do with an extra $50. I know what my needs are and how much it costs. I may need to decide between option A or B - because they both cost $50 let's say - but I would know I NEED one of them.

Sounds like you don't have an identified need except to help lighten your Paypal balance.

Maybe I'm wrong and if so I apologize. But unless you've got a LOT of spare $50 hanging around, I'd be careful. Otherwise you may invent a reason to spend it where there's not a real need.

You could also post a thread in the Warriors for Hire section (for a $20 fee), and use it to get clients within a couple days.

Hmm, I'd invest most of that in content i think, the reason for this is that Content is King. No point using that $50 in backlinking, promoting, buying WSO's if you havent already got the fundamentals. Not saying you have, but if content is already been provided for and it is unique, then perhaps focus on the marketing aspect of it, building the backlinks..perhaps outsourcing some more work which might enhance your website etc. You get the gist

    And you got extra $48.98

It's all about asset development and
    acquisition, my friend.

Let's let Ebenezer Scrooge be our
    inspiration for a moment.

If you've seen the movie then you
probably recall the scene where in the
mid of winter he has one little lump of
coal burning in his fireplace to warm
    his enormous home.

His guest asks him why such a wealthy
man only burns such a little lump of
coal, to which Scrooge says that when
that coal is burned, it's gone. It's much
better to spend the money on warm
    clothes.

Although Ebenezer has gone too far in his
miserliness, the clothes are an enduring
asset. The lump of coal, is not.

If you spend your $50 on anything that
is not an enduring asset you'll have nothing
to grow on. Your $50 will be gone.

Take your $50, acquire or develop an
asset that you can use to leverage into
    something greater.

All the best to you - X

      I would........

      1. Buy a domain name, preferably exact match for a keyword with low competition and a good few thousand searches.

      2. Install WordPress and upload a nice free theme.

      3. Go to iWriter.com and spend any money I had left on buying content from there. You should be able to get around 8, 500 word articles (Always use Premium writers the articles will be much better).

      4. Go to SocialMokee and build some social links, this should get you indexed fairly quick.

      5. Go to voltrank.com and submit the site, wait for it to get verified and then build some links to your site.

Make money from Adsense or Clickbank.

You know, I already own a couple websites and tried the Adsense route, but with no success... The time spent on promotion wasn't worth the results. Maybe the keyword selection is to blame or something else, but I stopped promoting the site because it was a waste of time for me.

But I would consider spending the money on promo, I just don't know which option would be the best for an Adsense site.

Yep I know what your saying, but if you build up your sites portfolio slowly and always use great unique content then you will see some good money come in.

Personally I go down the affiliate route but I always mix it in with adsense.

From adsense alone I earn around £300 per month. But the company I work for earns in excess of £20,000 per month from adsense alone, they have a network of around 100 sites none of which are worked on anymore.

So in the long run Adsense can pay and I hope to be earning that much in a few years

I would build a one page squeeze page (free) build a list of people (17$) by offering a good lead magnet ( pay 20$ to freelancer to make a premium product, in case you are a designer you can avoid this by giving away one of your PSD files ), then send out promotional emails to sell anything from WordPress themes to Hosting packages via affiliate links.

And I would still not have used up all the 50$

Run a WSO and if you're a skilled designer, you'll get some buys. But the key is not to charge an arm and a leg for the service. Most people on the forum are newbies, so they are looking for quality, but at a great price.

If you can manage that you can turn the $40 WSO price into over $1,000 in profits pretty quickly.

Personally, I think that if you don't know what to do with your $50, you shouldn't spend them now.

First, you need to know what you want.

Making money one the Internet is not about spending one's hard earned money. It's about knowing what you are doing.

Many people spend thousands on IM products and services, and still don't get nothing in return.

    First = education.
    Second = take action.

If you know what you are doing, $50 is a pretty good amount. I started with less than that.
