Best website directory submission tool?

Can anyone here reccommend a website or service that will submit your URL to different website directories?

I am new to the SEO game and want to make sure that my new sites have a very broad array of backlinks in terms of where they come from and website sirectories is something I have yet to master.

Any input on this would be greatly appreciated. I know you could go through and try to do one by one with hand but surely there has to be a better way. Just like there are a handfull of different websites that will bookmark your site at all the biggest social bookmarking sites. this is kind of what I am looking for when it comes to submitting my URL to website directories.

Thanks again in advance

I use directorybot at incansoft.com It's a semi automated directory submitter. It's well worth a look.

The best I have ever seen was SubmitEaze - I've had it for years and it works with free and paid website directories as well as article directories.

If it's a one off job, maybe look on fiverr.com or elance and get someone to do it for you who owns the submitter you want to use (ie cheaper than buying it)

I'm not sure of any free softwares that are reliable and do go with directory submission, SubmitEaze is the best I can suggest - I have been using it for years though and it seems to be updated pretty frequently.

Keep in mind that some of the most well maintained directories are going to have more aggressive anti-spam tools. And unfortunately, while there are some quality sites that get submitted by directory submitter tools, there is a greater percentage that are of low quality (as compared with manual submissions). So I would recommend coming up with a plan that involves manual submission. There are still extremely economical ways to do that too.

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Really you don't need to use a directory submitter into a directory like DMOZ that other directories scrape from

    Look for these factors:

If a directory stands up to scrutiny - then submission can be worth it, for example:

It has a good DA and the subject section has a good P/A

It has a relevant section to your niche

It will actually give you a link and not strip it out after you post it.

The page on which you link is displayed is not buried deep in the directory structure (like dmoz)

The directory and its pages are not stuffed with adsense or advertising

The directory is not full of dupe content.
