KISS in domain name !!!!

I have a domain I am thinking of building out into a site for the long hual.

But it has kiss in the domain, short for keep it simple stupid (or there are other more politically correct terms of it, but I don't care for them)

eg
w keywordkiss com

I am worried that some search engines and PC software my label it as a dodgy site.

What you think?
#domain #kiss

    I doubt "kiss" is blacklisted..

There's a "Kiss" estate agents in the UK with a popular website for what that's worth...

Kiss dot Com used to be a dating site. I knew the lady a little that started it and she never had a problem.

When I started I had several domain names that were cute and creative. They are doing well but honestly it would have been easier if I had just used the keyword in the name.

If you like the word Kiss in the name, I doubt it could hurt you. But if you are really unsure, $10 or so to get another name is not that much and in the long run a good investment if you are happier with the name.

Also one issue I had and you may have is that Google associates certain terms with certain things. So I had an issue where the ads I got were related to my creative term but not so much to my site. Though eventually, Google was educated as to what my site was about.

So you may find if you use Adsense, that you end up with ads about relationships and/or dating until G knows what you really have in mind.

If I saw a domain with kiss in it - I would think kiss and not keep it simple stupid. It's cute.

While it seems obvious your site has something to do with keywords, I'm sure there are tons of .com's available that could be sought to compliment your idea.

Just for fun I ran a few possible considerations:

    1.) keywordcrush[dot]com
    2.) keywordcontent[dot]info or [dot]org
3.) keyword-search[dot]net (.com is very pricy) Note: [6,600] Exacts every month!
    4.) keyworders[dot]net
    5.) KeywordBuzz[dot]net
    6.) KeywordJuice[dot]net
    7.) keywordX[dot]net
    8.) keywordz[dot]info

*As of 10/27/2011 9:45 EST the above were all available options.

While most of the .com's are bought, there are several good tld's you can choose from. Unless you are really into the word "kiss" I would avoid it as it may not have the interpreted meaning you are seeking.

Then again, who the hell ever heard of FB or Twitter until they branded it and made those domains huge!

    All the Best,
