What internet marketing seminars are coming up?

I just went to the Earn1KADay Seminar this weekend and it was awesome, both for networking and the knowledge I gained.

I know that Yanik's seminar is coming up, and of course Ken McArthur's JV seminar in Orlando in February.

What are some other ones that are happening in 2009? I'd like to put a list on my blog and talk about it tonight on Sean & my Blogtalk Radio Show.

      It's called The Music City Marketing Conference in Nashville, Tennessee.

      It's going to be June 19-21 and it's going to be awesome...take a look at
      the speakers that have already agreed to be there, though I'm expecting
      several more any time to agree to come...

      Michael Koenigs and the Traffic Geyser fellas Rocket & Frank have a seminar this weekend in San Diego. Fri-Sun.

      I'm not sure where the link is. I'll try and look.

      Frank Kern is doing a Mass Control seminar at the end of April at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego. It will be FREE for any Mass Control customer. And if you've ever been to one of his events, you know it's a blast! Quite different then most IM seminars you'll ever come across.

      Those are the only two on my schedule that stick out.

    If it's surfing you're after then I can't think of a better place than here in Hawaii!

    We never seem to get any events like this here, guess we're too far out of the way. If anyone is interested in organizing a conference please let me know, I'd love to help. We have lots of hotels with big meeting rooms and Internet access.

      I agree. The surf there is amazing.

      Frank threw a event there a few months ago in Maui at the Four Seasons (Insanely beautiful place). However it was only attended by his $2700 a month Platinum folks, Joe Sugarman, Matt Trainer and myself.

      I'd love for every IM event to be there. I did get a chance to surf too. Was a blast.

      As far as the Florida surfing, I dunno. Some good waves once in a blue moon, but chances of timing a seminar with good waves is extremely tough.

        Have to agree with you on the waves here bro. I have lived here all of my life and while we get decent surf probably two weeks out of 4, it would be difficult to time them with a conference. The surf is usually bigger in the winter but then the water is freezing!

      Why is there no central location for all the IM seminars? Surely someone has set up a website?

      I'd love to go to more but by the time I find out about the ones here in Australia they are usually sold out or over.

        Willie Crawford has a huge 50th Bday bash coming up at the end of March.. Looking like it's going to be pretty big! It's March 27-29th here in Orlando. Also a Stompernet thing going on in Ft Lauderdale at the beginning of March too sometime.

          That is truly awesome - because I live in Orlando. All internet marketing seminars should have to take place in Florida. There should be a law.

    Dr. Mike and I are having a seminar March 27th to 28th in San Diego. Should be a fun time with some great speakers -- we've announced that to some of our clients already, but we'll be giving out more details in the very near future.

    It'll definitely be warmer than it is here in Wisconsin.

    Dang it, Jason. Then one of them needs to change their name, because I'm easily confused.

    I'll post a list of these upcoming seminars on the social media smacktalk blog tomorrow, and then link to it here - some really great suggestions here, thank you guys! I hope to make to at least a few of them.

    Surfing - darn - yeah, unless you could organize a conference within a few days time I guess it would be hard to organize a conference around some good waves. My kids took surfing camp in Cocoa Beach this summer - there were a few days of good waves and then one day where the water was flat as glass.

    I was due to speak at the Earn1kaday seminar in Orlando but a very sick family member (who sadly has since passed on) forced me to miss that event. I am now looking at hosting some form of a workshop on the West Coast (can anyone say San Diego...) sometime in June/July. This will probably be a smaller event limited to about 30 - 50 people but focus more on creating your own product and then using specific marketing techniques (article marketing - ) to drive traffic.

    It is still very early in the planning stages but with my recent retirement from the military this workshop is looking more like a reality.

        You have no idea how excited I am to be finally retiring and going full time IM. I think 2009 is going to be huge for lots of folks in thus industry.
