Can Anyone Recommend a Domain Flipping Ebook?

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong place to ask this information. It seems every thread I read in here people are complaining of people posting a thread in the wrong area.

My question is does anyone know of a place where I could find some quality information on Domain flipping? I don't mind it being a paid version. I'm not talking about website flipping, but strictly domain flipping. I would be needing information for a newbie, because most likely I will be attempting to buy new domains and sell them shortly thereafter.

Thanks for your help.

Steven

    Hey Steven,

There are several different styles of Domain Flipping.

    1) There's the style where you buy domain names, build a website, bring it traffic and then sell the site. This takes a little more time and investment on your part.

    2) There's the style where you buy premium domain names at below market value. For example, XAB.com might be worth $8,000. You buy it for $4,000 and sell it for $7,000 and make $3,000 in a day. This one takes at least $5K to get started and a lot of time to understand market values.

    3) There's the style where you buy dropped domain names and sell the names on eBay, to domain forums or to end users. You can get started with $200-$500 with this technique. I've personally made maybe $100-$200 with this technique, although the time spent wasn't really worth the effort. Took me maybe 10 hours to make the $100-$200.

For the first type: Domain Flipping: Learn how to Flip Domain Names and Profit
For the second type: Domain Name Business Secrets
For the third type: Domain Flipping | How To Flip Domains For Massive Money Online

(Not affiliated with any of them.)

I've studied just about every domaining ebook I could get my hands on and those 3 are some of the best ones.

    Cheers,

    - Derek

Zach Booker and James Jones---both part of WF---have put out some stuff that has gotten good comments. I've seen Zach's material on site flipping and it includes some of the same ideas as in the domaining area. I'm no expert but the couple of folks I know personally who study IM are of the opinion that focusing on site flipping is a more reliable strategy. More work but more predictable/controllable. I suppose as the technology to put optimized niche sites gets better, this will be even more true.

Derek's answer sure looks useful. Generally look first to people who have really tried out a direction---as he apparently has.

Thanks! Domain flipping theorem is actually no longer available as a WSO and is now a much larger product called domain scalping that Ryan Deiss and I created (which is the product LawerenceTam is talking about I believe).

        Cheers,

I'm still in the process of going through one that I found through Ryan Deiss's autoresponder. I thought it was a better take and cheaper investment. It was deep into his series so if you can't find it PM me.

I know one of my favourite Warriors, sbucciarel is a dab hand at this and I've bought some books off her in the past that are excellent on this subject.

I'd seriously recommend looking her up if you haven't got all you need.

It's interesting that you mention Ryan Deiss. When I was looking for Zach's Domain Flipping Theorem, I discovered that he and Ryan had integrated it into a larger program that included personal coaching. It looked like a GREAT idea--I just didn't do it because I am so far behind on digesting and implementing things I've already obtained (including Zach's site flipping WSO where proceeds went to charity).

        Beat me to it!

Domain Scalping is my baby and we went way over the initial four weeks coaching we planned to have. We've had three "job quitters" which is incredible (one who's a warrior) and I know many more stories will pour in in the months to come.

        Cheers,

        Zach
