Do not see competition as a threat !!
Competition is a part of life, it has surrounded us since birth, we are the people we are today thanks to competition. Yet in business we try to avoid it like the plague, why do so many people do this !!
Here are a few reasons why you need to be harnessing the power of competition.
A.....If there is competition in the marketplace then there is obviously a hungry market !!
B.....Competition can help you identify potential threats to your business and allow you to stay ahead of the game.
C.....Competition allows you to take a look at your customer requirements by taking a look at what your competitors are doing.
D.....Find the holes in your competitors businesses and make those holes powerful areas in your business, this will help to build and create an alliance with your competitors.
E.....Your success is not simply based on your product or your service, it is based on the whole experience you create and you can wipe out a large chunk of competitors who still will not be getting this right.
D....Competition helps provide inspiration and ideas to implement in your business.
E.....Competition will help you motivate yourself to a higher level of customer service and support.

S.....Obviously competition will always be good for the consumer, but remember simply by running a business you will be a consumer within that niche, therefore benefiting in your own right by the products and services you purchase towards your success.
You see competition has been around us all of our lives, we live by it, we develop by it, so you may as well know how to run with it.
