Paypal, how do I un-disputed an order?

I ordered something off a warrior the other day. I got a mail from them saying that the order was disputed on paypal?

I never disputed this... have no idea how this happened.

I did get the usual account down, change password nonsense..... which I did.

How can I un-dispute this? I can't see any option for this in the interface.

I've had that happen to me...Paypal told me they randomly will "check" on charges. I was actually the seller in this case and since the buyer never contacted Paypal to tell them she did actually purchase it, I lost the money even though I shipped it. So odd. I don't know why Paypal does that. I'd email them about it and let them know it was a legit purchase. You'll probably end up being asked about it by them anyhow and that will save the seller some trouble too!

Crazy...these are the kind of stories that make me shutter every time I hear the phrase, "PayPal".... I agree, I don;t know why PP does a lot of things.

Your best chance is to email paypal about the issue. I believe there is no option to cancel a dispute.

Paypal really does some crazy stuff sometimes.
They will random check and if they found anything suspicious, they might dispte a transaction [ keep ur money until further investigation , investigations can take upto 6 months]

On the phone to them now... actually, no... wow

I got through to one guy, and after giving him all my details, asked him to fix this... he said he'd have to transfer me to some other department.

On hold... then I get an answering machine saying their offices are closed.

      $%# you paypal

Yup - this happens regularly to a friend of mine who runs a non IM related membership site. Paypal raise random disputes on behalf of perfectly happy members. My friend has twice had to refund them, which automatically cancels their membership then have to explain what's happened and ask them to rejoin. (Not a good way of retaining happy customers)

Last time it happened, she was staying with me and I persuaded her to send them all the info she had and dispute the dispute. She won this time so the member wasn't inconvenienced.

If they truly are trying to help by flagging dodgy transactions they should contact the merchant first to ask if there have been problems with the transaction BEFORE raising a dispute and upsetting happy customers.
