How to index my webpage within ONE month.

I have a website not done any analitics on no Google registration, no SEO, SEM, SMO nothing at all not even PPC advertising zip, just designed it.

It is only found on the web if you type in the URL other wise in a search throu
Yahoo or Google it does not show up.

Assume for this case the above is the senario on a Monday.

Now on the Tuesday you happen to search for say "electrician perth" and you
find your site you just designed less than two months ago and it is on page
one.

Not only that it is in position one !

My Q is how is that possible, can any one give me a presise answer ?

    The SE robots constantly fetching new data. If they keyword(s) your site is targeting has very little or no competition, they will find and rank you.

    Most of the time, it doesn't take long for top search engines to index your site. But search engines indexed your site means they found your site or know that you are out there. It doesn't mean they will rank you high in their SERPs.

    To rank high in the SERPs, you have to do some promotion like social bookmarking, blog commenting, profile backlinking and the likes.

    If the competition is low, you can manage that with a few back links, or even no back links if your on page SEO is top notch.

    1 Month ? Even if I wanted to, I couldn't do it

    You can get your website indexed in few hours, just make search queries in Whois websites, make few bookmarks and you're indexed

    Hi mate,
    Getting index in google is not a big deal. You can do it by just getting few back links ( Of-course good and quality ) . They might be free methods like google webmaster tool, digg, reditt, identi.ca , pinging etc or by paying methods like ppc campaigns.
    And if you like to be in the first page, it really depends on the Keyword ranking and how quality you maintain your website, If you have good Pr and if you use good seo techniques, you can come to the first page in few days , if you have medium level competition. If you have huge competition , it may take months.
    But nothing is impossible to do . You can achieve every thing you think. You should not loose hope.

    If there's hardly any competition for your particular keyword and your site contains good content throughout several pages, it's very possible to get ranked so high really quick. Page navigation and many other factors play a role as well, but in a very low competition market it's not surprising.

    This doesn't mean your ranking can't drop just as fast...
    The 1st few crawls these bots do are to get a general idea and first impression of the site and content.
