If you have money and some knowledge on PPC, you should drive paid traffic to your opt in page and test if your site converts well. if it doesn't tweak a few things and test again. that will be the fastest way. after you get a decent conversion rate, you can send seo traffic to your site.

There is a lot to building a successful list. Keyword research, getting targetted traffic to the offer, good followup emails, giving value, the email subject line, etc.

It took my a while and struggling to figure it all out, but now I'm getting some good targetted traffic and have a 75% conversion rate.

First, set your expectations for building a list over time and don't give up.

Join the War Room on this forum. That way you will immediately have access to tons of free information and the free backlinking service provided one time to War Room members.

However, make sure you have done really good keyword first as this is a one time only free deal and is very effective.

Try the social bookmarking websites to drive some traffic to your website. Post it to facebook, to your friends, some groups that are related to your website and see what happens. You can try writing some article which will be linked to you squeeze page and then submit the article to the social bookmarking websites like stumbleupon, digg, twitter, facebook, reddit, google + and share it with your friends. Tell them to share that for you if they don't mind and that will bring a lot of traffic to your site and the people that come are potential subscribers to your list.

It's important that you start driving traffic for your site. If you're looking for free methods, then there's a lot. It will just take a lot of time and work. You also need to be consistent. Start by having a good presence on social media mainly fb, twitter, linkedin and google+. Start connecting with people and share your content there. You can also do forum marketing with your blog address on your signature file. Don't just leave one line comments tho. That will be ineffective and a time waster. Article and Video marketing is also really good and effective. Also, start commenting on blogs within your niche. This method really works well and I still do it till today. Finally, do SEO. Optimize your page and target some keywords. Search engine traffic is amazing especially if it's free.

Step 1. Put a link to your squeeze page in your signature here on the forum

Step 2. Find similar forums and do the same

Step 3. Create a twitter account, get some followers, and tweet it

Step 4. Create a FaceBook Fan Page - link to your squeeze page

Step 5. Create a video about your freebie and post it on YouTube (link to your squeeze page)

Step 6. Join JV Giveaway Events

Having a page on clickbank itself will get you some traffic. The next thing you should do is create an affiliate page and add some banners of different sizes and email copy that affiliates can use to promote your product. If you're offering a decent commission, you'll find plenty of affiliates who will promote your product and it will help your search engine ranking as well.
