You must have a Premium or Business account to sell products through PayPal.

Your personal account can be upgraded to Premium. For Business, you will need to get a new account. You may not do both - you are only allowed one Business or Premium account and one Personal account.

So it's fine if I don't sell through PayPal? I'm using E-Junkie that's connected to my PayPal to receive my payments is that acceptable?

If it's connected to your PayPal account, it's through PayPal.

Not really unless you have partner who will be sharing the Paypal credit.

Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to reiterate that this is why you do not ask for (or take) legal advice on the internet.

Even on a non-legal question as simple as this, which could have been answered with a simple search on the PayPal website anyway, the answer is stunningly wrong and has undesirable consequences if followed.

So imagine if this were a question which had worse consequences, e.g. massive fines or jail time.

No matter how you are doing it, if you are taking funds through paypal, go business. It doesn't cost you anything for the upgrade.

If you begin to sell directly through paypal on your site, get PayPal Website Payments pro.

It's $30 per month and PayPal will cater to you a bit more.

but as someone stated above, you have to ask the source. Call PayPal and ask them, never ask questions about how you should do financial transactions through a forum, some folks are too quick to post a response that could get you into serious trouble
