Sounds like you could benefit from this: Dropbox: The Inside Story Of Tech's Hottest Startup - Forbes

Find some way to make it more than just a place to put videos. They do it through the sharing features that make it great for collaboration.

As for getting users, Dropbox gets most of their users through the referral program, and it manages to be profitable even with most people not paying anything.

If I were in your position, I would set up a freemium model, charge for upgrades like video editing and more space for video storage, and give people more of something (like more storage) for referring people.

I'm almost positive Blogger is not a domain registrar. You might want to check this out.

I did some quick research and found this, which may provide the answer to your question: Blogger Help

No, im OK with the blogger side of things, ive been using blogger for years. When setting up a blogger blog you are prompted to use your own domain and I can 301 re-driect even if i decide to do it at a later stage.

I guess what Im really trying to say is: does this effect my seo seeing as im not moving the site but just the domain?

Wow...I don't know if you can do that with blogger.com. I buy my domains from godaddy and host my websites on Hostgator. After I buy the domain, inside my account I point my domain at my hostgator account. When I signed up for a Hostgator account they gave me two "I think they are called" DNS codes. These are plugged into my new domain acct.
