privacy policy got spun??

Hello, I'm a newbie and wandering around in a dense forest - where I cant see the trees (or the swamps either). I recently got an autoblog built from fivver which is great - but there was no privacy policy. I added a page and a policy, unfortunately the policy I pasted got spun (it looks like) and is a bunch of gobbldygook. In addition, there is a contact box that's included in the blog - I tested it out and it doesn't actually submit an email, even though it says it does. Can anyone suggest how to fix these probs?
TA very much.. Glenda

Obviously could do with a bit more information but I may have a quick fix for you.

Paste the Privacy Policy into a notepad document and save it as .html file.

Then upload it to your web hosting folder.

Then add a text link on your blog to it.

If you need a hand sen me a PM and I can help!

I didn't get your SPUN thingy but I might help you about the content form issue.

First, goto your WordPress Dashboard and click on "General" (left-side menu).

You'll see an "Email Address" option. If the email address there is yours, then there must be another problem with the theme/or content-form plugin. But if the email address is not yours, you can enter yours and "Save Changes"

In case if your WordPress theme uses a plugin of "contact form", then goto "Plugins" on the left menu and click "Settings" below the "Contact Form" plugin. There you will see an email option. Change it with your email it its not there already.

Hope it helps. If you need any further assistance, please do let me know.

Thanks guys - I really appreciate the help given here - it makes a huge difference. I've sorted the contact form. It was a plugin problem as Biznics suggested, that required another plugin. Re the privacy policy- I am still working....thanks for your help. I sure will PM you if I can't get it figured out.

I know its best - I did do this for 8mo 1,000 words per article. Thoroughly researched and accurate articles in the health and diet niche. I've still got my day job. Hey I'm originally from Tas - living in midwest usa now. See you are in Syd. I have not forgotten my blog, currently floating face up in the water. I'm looking to revive it, but it needs a huge injection of SEO. You can't even find it unless you type in url. I sorta thought a strategy for auto blogs to make money might be lots of them for a bit of money would bring in lots of money.

Depending on what you actually need to have in your privacy policy, there are plugins that create privacy policies.

Easy privacy policy is one I used to use, you have to scare up a link for it now from other places besides the wordpress codex, but it works pretty well.

Thanks guys, I got the privacy policy page sorted by getting rid what I had and done, which was simply copy and paste some text. The google privacy policy plugin works like a charm. The easy privacy policy plugin has been discontinued apparently.
