Social Media Marketing Tips

If you guys are into affiliate marketing I would really make sure you are making the most out of facebook and twitter. I really would tap into as much of that free traffic as possible. Just imagine combined the sites have more than 1 billion people signed up. Just imagine if you could just make $1 out of just a tenth of the people on the site! For Facebook I would try and make a fan page and try and get as many fans as possible. Twitter is a bit easier in that regard. I would also try and make the sites look as professional as possible. Remember you can also link them together! You can tweet something and have it go on your facebook as well. I would just stress quality!! Make sure you are providing quality information and not fluff to have people be interested in what you are selling.

    I just took a shot at putting a facebook ad that points to my squeeze page with a free downloadable pdf. I like it that i can aim at who i want to see my ad, and there are a ton of "categories" you can pick from. Like i said, i just started, but i can see the maximum potential in using facebook. I just need to figure out how to get people to look at it without having to actually pay facebook for the ads they're running..........

    So far, i've got.... 9000+/1.2million displays and of those 9000 displays, i've got 4 people who've subscribed to my list via my optin gift......

    I like to think i'm doing alright.... but im very new to this, so... any advice?

    If you super target your add on Facebook try taking a look at CPM (cost per thousand) instead of CPC, you may find it is a lot cheaper and may pay off for you.
