I have a Facebook fan page question please

I want to deactivate (not delete) my personal Facebook profile so no one can see it without it also making my Facebook Fan Pages become deactivated. The difference between deactivating and deleting is that deactivation will enable me to reactivate it later and my profile will appear exactly the way it was before with all the same friends and posts, etc.

Here is my question...

Is it possible for me to deactivate an FB personal profile without it affecting the visibility of my FB business Fan Pages?

    Yes your fan pages will not be affected by your ban.



    That is unless your ban was related to the fan page like if you were spamming the fanpage link.

    Just make sure you have a second admin on your page in case you need to access it.

    I' not sure you can actually delete your FB account; I've tried it and they just told me it was deactivated. Like Wechito said, just make sure you have another admin so that you can get access to your fanpage. Then you will be okay.

      I'm pretty sure I saw that there are two choices now: delete or deactivate

    when you deactivate facebook profile the fan page which is attached with this account will be tranfered to the other admin of the page.

      To be safe, I will create another profile and designate that profile as the Admin for my FB pages and then deactivate the original profile.
