Excellent!

This is a newbies roadmap, for sure.

#5 is a biggie for me, personally. I started on line in May 2006 on the "cheap" road and have learned that one needs to spend some money to truly shorten the trip from newbie to moneymaker.

I have been in the Warrior Forum off and on for more than two years and I have learned a lot here for free but I now know that buying WSO's along the way would surely have been smarter and shortened the trip.

I am making some money now but not where I want to be because I need to take a few more steps to complete my personal roadmap. This will mean I need to spend a little money which I know is necessary for success.

I like the bit about not talking about what you can't prove. In IM, the only thing I can actually prove is that niche blogs or sites work. This is the only thing I've done that has brought results.

Funny, this is about the only thing I can prove at this point. Find keywords in a niche you can compete for. Build a site about 5 to 10 pages, put adsense on it and then build backlinks and watch the money come in.

PPC: the only thing I know how to do with PPC is lose money. If you need some help with that just let me know.

I take that back. I have two offline businesses and PPC does well for those. But when it comes to promoting affiliate products, I'm really good at losing money.

  Great article! Thanks for the link. I actually subscribed to his blog so I can use this post as a resource in the future. I think that post would actually make a great WSO. It was better than probably 80% of all the ebooks I have purchased in the past on all the topics he covered.
