Well I have a sticky note on my computer saying that I'll be making $10,000 a month by 31st December 2011. You know what they say... "Aim for the moon and if you miss you'll reach the stars."

But at minimum I would like a few more products up and running with mailing lists set up and related membership sites on the back-end. At the very minimum, I am expecting to reach at least (*calculates now*) $1200-1300 a month.

Just did my first 10k month (more like 11.5k)... would like to hit the same for Nov and Dec. If so i will be quitting my job and take this full time next year.

I am a big fan of goals and using goals as markers for achievement. That being said, my goals for the rest of the year are to 1) put the technical pieces for my online business in place (web page, pay portal, etc.) and 2) earn my first dollar online.

My goals for next year are significantly larger but as they say,"New business is New Business"!

develop better systems/processes to find out what worked in the best and
adapt those learnings into future success product launches.

also get more inspiration from outsiders..meaning getting a broader and different perspective that is not so vendor/product based but focussed on the customer...

My goal is to hit $5k per month.
I have come pretty close with $4339 in September and $4575 last month. Hoping November and December I can hit the 5k mark.

Doing everything I can do reach my goals before the baby is born in January!

My single goal to reach by end of this year is to spend more time doing IM. The past couple months of my life has been full of unexpected and tragic events that I haven't had the ability to work like I need to on this stuff. If I can manage that I will put down my 2012 goal here soon.

After 6 months of being in the IM game, it has only been the past two days I've seen the glimmers and managed to finally gain a commission, not the biggest at all financially, however, mentally it has done me so much good.

My target has always been to start off small and build my way up gradually and consistently...so for me..to earn $200-$300 by the end of this year would be fantastic, anything more would even better. Nevertheless the money would certainly not be going in my pocket for the new year! Straight back into the business it would go!

Then for the end of 2012 (providing the world doesn't end), my goal would be much higher, something like $2,000,000,000,000...ahhh who am I kidding?! Risk nothing, gain nothing! Remaining passionate, optimistic, motivated and determined is by far the most important thing to me..then the money comes into the equation. ;-)

the funny thing about it, is that I set a list of goals at the end of 2010 to reach by the end of 2011, I succeeded my goals times ten in less than 6 months.

So this year I set a 10 year goal to help create 4,500 jobs in 10 years and make a total of 30 million dollars in that 10 year period.

Which I am already on a super fast track to succeed, I would be surprised if I shattered that goal in half either.

But by the end of 2012 I want to have at least 4 new products created to sell in 2012, which I already have 2 of them completed.

I have been off of IMing for a few years and am just no trying to get back.

By the end of the year I hope be making at least $100 a week. Which if IM is anything like it as before I should be able to achieve that easily. Wish me luck. haha.

My goal is really to make a full time living online, my goal before 2012 is $150 a day. I have made some money but i need a solid plan that I will be following every single day to get to my goal - busy with the plan right now.

Part of the plan involves writing a lot of articles and backlinking, so it is going to be very busy for me. I am up for the challenge, because I definitely do not want another 2011. i cannot be this broke again

Excellent challenge, Niche Man.

Long and medium-term goals are essential: they provide the context for creating short-term goals, which set the context for daily schedules, which determine moment-by-moment decisions:

- What do you plan on achieving THIS WEEK?
- ... so what is your schedule for TODAY?
- ... and what, precisely, should you be doing RIGHT NOW?

Long term goals are achieved by the decisions we make Now, and Now, and Now, and Now .... moment-by-moment across the days, weeks and months.

It's too easy to treat goals as "set-and-forget"!

You're right I have a few set-it and forget it goals I'm dusting off now.

My goal: Work less than an hour a day and enjoy the holidays. Hopefully I can do that... If I stick to doing just the most profitable things, then that'll happen. If I get a wild hair to create something new then that will surely stop me from achieving the goal.

My goal for 2011 is steady $100 days. I am currently hitting it weekly, but would love to be able to expect it.

Goal for 2012 is steady $200 days as soon as possible.

The goal really is not making $200 days, but to be confident and safe enough to quit the day-job and spend my days reconecting with old friends and enjoy life.

I found it interesting how you drilled down past the monetary goal ($200 days) to your core intention ... to achieve the confidence and safety to quit your job and spend more time with friends. That's really breaking a goal down. Awesome.

1. Make my first affiliate sale.

2. Have at least 100 articles on my site. (5 just now)

3. Have at least 100 visitors. (I know it's not much, but i'm focusing on content right now)
